Ski rental Blackcomb
Host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Whistler in combination with Blackcomb is the largest ski area in North America with 8171 acres (3307 ha) of terrain, 200 trails, and 12 bowls. The resorts are 54% larger than the next largest ski resort, and If comparing the resorts individually, Whistler and Blackcomb each still remain in the top 5 of largest resorts. Whistler comprises 4757 acres (1925 ha) of terrain and has a 5020 ft (1530 m) vertical drop.
Connected by a lively pedestrian village at the base of the mountains and the Peak to Peak Gondola near the top, Whistler and Blackcomb mountains are very accessible to skiers and riders. The pedestrian village at the base of the resort contains 200 shops, 130 restaurants and bars, 110 hotels, and plenty of entertainment.
